INSPIRATION
I woke up one morning a few weeks ago to this song in my spirit. I even figured out the lick for the line, ‘You have my heart’ because the song kept playing in my heart all by itself. I had heard it in church a few times, and I reckoned it’d be Travis Greene or Ty Tribett. But unbeknownst to me, it was a heartfelt Nigerian voice, Folabi Nuel.
MUSICALITY
I love the fact that this B flat rock rendition is a live version with an infusion of the saxophone, giving it a fresh flavour. It reminds me of Hillsong days at Dominion theatre, with that fresh sound that keeps you worshiping forever, alongside its lively and rich back ups.
The intro starts with digital claps, followed by keyboard notes, then a hearty ‘Let’s go now’ from Folabi. He goes into the verse with yummy infusions of the lead guitar. I love how the drums increase intensity at ‘Oh, I’m nothing without you’. This song is happy, and you just think about all the reasons you love Jesus. I assure you, live music is a real treat!

This song speaks the message of Romans 8:35 MSG, which says,
