#WorshipSongOfTheMoment: ‘Good Good Father’ by Chris Tomlin

31

Simple, yet profound, the words of this song keep on ringing. The love of God for me is really what I want to be identified by. His perfect ways, His knowing what I need even before I even ask, how He causes all things to work out for my good never ceases to amaze me.

Enjoy this alternative track with its acoustic and country flavours as well as its God enveloping ambience. Its soothing acoustic intro and outro on A  major, as well as the timbre of the digital violins reminds  me of my yummy high school favourite tracks: Miley Cyrus’s ‘I Learned From You’, and Lifehouse’s ‘You And Me’. Chris Tomlin’s unique style of singing without embellishments on the notes and the live feel of the multiplicity of his voice give the song a really pure vibe. With little need for a bridge the recurrence of its beautiful lyrics sink deeper into my consciousness, leading me further into God’s love.
