Guys, I present to you ‘Get it’ by Gamie.
This is a simple east coast rap piece, and Gamie reminds me of Twista with its semi fast pacedness. It’s quite interestingly lyrical and Gameman as a rapper is quite talented. The beat is simple plus the notes are simple, nice and easy going.
This rap piece narrates the journey a christian person realising they need to get their priorities right, after spiraling a few times. It talks about wrong mindsets and where such things could lead one, from an introspective point of view.
I feel like the mindset of sonship is important when you find that your habits do not align with what expects of you. You need to understand that when you give your life to Christ, your spiritual inheritance is already on the inside of you and you have all that you need to live a victorious life. It’s only a question of meditating and confessing the word of God right in His presence.
As christians, we are to feast on the word of God and have our minds renewed by it constantly, while also being in tune with the times and seasons.
If you have anything that you believe you are struggling with, there is no reason to feel guilty but change whatever habits by praying, studying the word and taking practical disciplinary steps. The bible says in “The path of the just shines brighter and brighter unto that perfect day.” That is your reality, regardless of how you feel.
Sometimes, you might feel like you make a couple of mistakes that you feel like you are no longer a child of God, but that is an untrue feeling. Jesus said in John 10: 28-29, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” You will therefore be fine.
